Dunlop tyres are proudly manufactured and distributed in South Africa by Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (SRSA). SRSA actively pursues increased value for all stakeholders and greater happiness for employees. As a good corporate citizen, the company has a comprehensive and diversified corporate social responsibility programme aimed at supporting and uplifting the communities in which they operate.

SRSA invested over R2.1 billion into a state-of-the-art purpose-built 180 000m² truck, bus and radial (TBR) factory and an upgraded modernised passenger car, sport utility vehicle (SUV) and light truck tyre manufacturing facility in Ladysmith. This was aimed at increasing manufacturing output to meet the needs of the tyre markets in Africa, this investment showcases the company’s commitment to the continent.
